Subdivision Design and Feasibility

Subdivision Design

We have developed a particular skill in planning large scale subdivision for residential, unit title, rural and industrial developments, from the raw undeveloped land into an attractive and functional finished product.

The survey team, using detailed topographic data plans the new earthworks, either low impact if possible or larger scale cutting and filling, drainage and services layout, roading pattern, parking provision, landscaping layout and specials such as stormwater soakage ponds.

Feasibility

We can prepare plans showing the development potential for any site from small two lot subdivisions to large scale residential, industrial subdivision involving earthworks design together with drainage and roading layout, and from rural lifestyle to urban or city dwelling. It is often surprising to what degree land value can be increased by demonstrating the full development potential of any site. Such studies are relatively inexpensive and help you plan appropriately, minimise risks and maximise returns.
We have 40 years experience in the completion of legal surveys of all forms on freehold land including cross lease, unit title and traditional freehold subdivision. Both Ralph Jorgensen & Hudson Moody are Licensed Cadastral Surveyors who both hold the status of Registered Professional Surveyor (RPSurv) within the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors and therefore meet the specific requirements of the Survey Act and the associated Survey Regulations that must be followed for land transfer surveys.
We fully consult with all affected parties including Local and Regional Councils, DoC, Maori interests, the QWE II Trust, and parties that can be brought on board to facilitate a favourable result.
